A Brief History
Lancaster Harley-Davidson®/Buell® opened its doors in 1951,
and in 1952 Ray "Tex" Texter became owner. Tex
built the dealership from the ground up. Tex's son Randy,
was born into the business and took over running the
business in 1998.
Unfortunately in August of 2010 Randy passed away after a
long battle with health issues. Tex took over once again
as the owner until his death in December of 2010. We
have begun the new year of 2011 under the leadership of
Betty Texter. Betty has always played a major role in
the business alongside her husband, Tex, and their son,
Randy. We are all moving forward with the
memories of Tex and Randy. On this
page you'll find three of the dealership's different looks,
along with a great aerial shot of the entire dealership.
Through the years the store has undergone many changes in
appearance and structure but the heart of the company is
still the same. We have been and remain totally committed to
providing fair prices and excellent service on the best
motorcycles in the world.
We are also dedicated to serving both Harley and Buell
owners and also to bringing new riders to the asphalt.
Lancaster Harley-Davidson®/Buell® also gives back to those in
need in the community by raising funds for charities,
especially the Muscular Dystrophy Association. As we
continue to grow and improve, we invite you to come along
