showing up!
The Harley-Davidson Rider's Edge® New
Rider Course is the answer.
So what is it? Rider's Edge® is a 25 hour beginner skills course,
designed to teach you from start to finish how to ride safely while having fun.

The cost
for the New Rider Course is $295* due at registration.
This fee
covers: Use of a Buell® Blast® motorcycle / 5 days of instruction /
All classroom materials and references / A dealership discount card for required
riding gear / Meals, snacks and beverages.
After you complete
and pass our New Rider Course, if you choose to purchase a new motorcycle from
our dealership, your entrance fee will be credited towards your bike deal or
put on store account. Students that purchase a motorcycle prior to class
registration will be credited $295.00 on their store account upon class
completion. Offer is valid for six months from date of course completion.

students with 2 trained instructors
Class Schedule: Classes meet on five consecutive days, totaling 25
hours of intense learning and training. All five days of class are mandatory!
Thursday & Friday 5:30pm–9:00pm / Saturday
8:00am-5:00pm / Sunday 8:00am-5:00pm
/ Monday 5:30pm-8:00pm
Necessary Gear: What you need for the class:
A valid driver's license and a motorcycle permit or Class M (Motorcycle)
license
A DOT approved motorcycle helmet
Eye protection, including non-tinted face shields, sunglasses, goggles,
or glasses
Sturdy
over the ankle footwear (boots)
Full-fingered riding gloves
A
long-sleeved shirt or jacket
Durable
long pants, such as jeans, without tears or holes
Once you have passed and completed the course, you will receive an MSF
completion card. This could qualify you for a discount on your motorcycle
coverage from your insurance company. Check with your insurance company for

Rider's Edge® New Rider Course through Lancaster Harley-Davidson/ Buell,
please take a safety course somewhere .We want you to have fun but most
importantly be safe. Please contact the Motorcycle Safety Foundation® at
800-477-4700 for details on their motorcycle safety program.
Skilled Rider Course
THE CLASS
The Skilled Rider Course is a six to seven hour course held entirely on the
range over one day. The course uses the proven curriculum of the Motorcycle
Safety Foundation® (MSF)
Experienced RiderCourse Suite, with some enhancements developed
by Harley-Davidson enthusiasts. Participants use their own motorcycles to
enhance the following skills: control at low speeds, risk management, limited
space maneuvers, cornering judgment, stopping quickly in a curve, swerving and
stopping quickly, multiple curve maneuvers and surmounting objects.
Upon
completion of the course, students will earn a Skilled Rider Course pin and
patch set, as well as a completion card from MSF that may assist you in getting
possible discounts on insurance.
